75 years ago, three Boston Bruins put their careers on hold to serve in World War II.

Referred to as the famous "Kraut Line," Milt Schmidt, Woody "Porky" Dumart and Bobby Bauer helped Boston win Stanley Cup titles in 1939 and 1941. But the championships were secondary to the trio's true heroics.
