BOSTON — All the conversations about past accomplishments, titles won and battles fought, is part of the narrative associated with Kobe Bryant’s farewell tour.

But the life of an NBA player, a superstar player mind you, is addictive.

And for a player with the kind of competitive drive that Bryant has possessed throughout his illustrious career, it’s fair game to wonder if he’ll have second thoughts about retiring.

He has been asked about this on a number of occasions since he decided to call it quits after this season.

And following the Los Angeles Lakers’ 114-102 win over Boston, Bryant once again made his thoughts on retirement abundantly clear.

When asked if there was a chance he would reconsider his decision, he replied, “Zero. Zero.”

He was later asked if he felt 100 percent better about the decision now that some time has passed since his announcement.

“I feel completely at peace,” he said. “Truly at peace. It’s time.”

On Thursday, Bryant had 15 points but shot 5-for-18 from the field. However, he scored nine points in the fourth quarter which included a 3-pointer with 1:40 to play that was arguably the biggest shot of the game.
