Thomas first off, same lineup vs. Habs

MONTREAL Every Bruins player was accounted for on the ice, and it appears the Bs will go with the same lineup as they did against the New York Islanders. Tim Thomas was the first goaltender off the ice at the Bell Centre and should get the start while riding an eight-game winning streak.

We had to make sure we got ourselves back into a position where we were competing with the top teams, said Claude Julien. We needed this winning streak to get us there, and now its a matter of staying in that position. Thats going to get harder.

Thomas had 23 saves against the Isles while racking up his 28th career shutout with the Bs, and is now holds third place all-time within the Boston franchise for shutouts behind Tiny Thompson (74) and Frank Brimsek (35).

The lineup projects as follows:

Forwards:
Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Pouliot-Kelly-Peverley
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Defensemen:
Chara-Boychuk
Corvo-Seidenberg
Ference-McQuaid

Goaltenders:
Thomas
Rask
