Rex Ryan ‘assuming' he'll keep job with Bills

The NFL has already seen one coaching change this week with Monday’s news that the Rams fired Jeff Fisher. Is another on the way?

Rex Ryan is seemingly in danger of losing his job, as Jason La Canfora reported Sunday that the Bills head coach could be canned as soon as this week.

Asked about that possibility, Ryan told reporters in Buffalo that he’s paying the report no mind.

"I really don't know what to feel,” Ryan told reporters, per ESPN’s Mike Rodak. “… I'm not gonna think one second about something that may or may not happen."

Ryan added that he is “assuming” he will be the coach of the team next season.

After finishing his first season in Buffalo 8-8, Ryan has led Bills to a 6-7 record through 13 games this season. His 14-15 tenure in Buffalo follows a six-season stint with the Jets in which he went 46-50.
