With eight picks in June’s NBA draft, it’s not realistic that Boston will use all those picks for themselves, or engineer enough deals to unload them.
It’s a safe bet that the Celtics will do a bit of stash-and-dash with some of those picks, particularly the five second-round selections.
And when it comes to tucking players away for a later date, Europe is a fertile market for such transactions.
While there are not a ton of overseas players projected to go high in this year’s NBA draft, there are more than enough overseas prospects that would certainly be worth Boston giving serious thought to selecting.
