And everybody's talking about the guys that I. Pierce and Garnett and aspects of the spots it's true they are living legends and I wanna start with with Kevin Garnett. And and then of course we'll talk about Paul Pierce and sort category that is government witness for the Timberwolves. I would say he was my favorite not Celtic and I don't think we immediately at a neutral and I think -- will. Have a true appreciation of the dominant player he was in his youth. When he came here is a different guy you know any help us win a championship video. You know get a championship -- from so well in his hey day. With the -- -- -- he was the only good player on that team he was 3010. Every. Night and one thing you'd you don't realize about Kevin Garnett you do now -- -- realizing that this is -- -- he's he played. As hard if not harder -- you -- playing now players just don't do that you know they take nights off. Think that they will take weeks off at times and Kevin Garnett in -- hard obviously you can go back I remember game twelve years ago weary but. His legacy will be not just the scoring it's not gonna just be the rebounding it will be the way he played the game the passion. The fire obviously that he played with -- and I guarantee you any of his teammates. They would tell you that they can't remember. A game that Kevin Garnett gave up on them. That he took the night off and I think he does the same thing today. Now at this age and it's it's just it's so impressive to me it would be that as long as he's been doing it at the -- If you have -- logo. That's how you how big of a -- if you ask Jerry West. One of the NBA greats. Carry on the all time scoring list. But that fifteenth spot. And when all is said and done this guy will have played twenty years in the league and it's because I believe he will finish this contract. No question and it's incredible to think about -- don't you think of guards wings players in the game they really have to told the basketball also Jerry West and not minimizing what he did by any means but. You would have the basketball you double down you pull up we've even showed highlights tonight. That showed Jerry West coming down. By himself I unassisted shooting a jump shot. It's tougher when a guy like Kevin Garnett has to rely on. His teammates because obviously they have to be halfway decent players -- -- also have to earn their respect. And that's what KG does no matter where he goes no matter what team he's playing board -- is known to always going against he has the respect from his other. Teammates from from his peers if you will and it's just impressive to see that a guy. At that size on that list and is still going he really -- special. So for the fans than it was a great night it was also great night for Paul Pierce both KG and bold. Passing these milestones if you will reaching these milestones. For the hometown. Which is what you want. Last night's game with last night's game and I'm really happy that KG and forward it. Home crowd aid if she PG. Quite frankly they gave Paul Pierce and I felt like sign aid if the fact that he could. You know at the top story at home tonight and it in that decision OK that. It's pretty cool that -- kind of solidifies where they are not just him. Boston Celtic history but in NBA history and it adds really it is. The magical organization this has been. Because you look back at this twenty years from now thirty years from now you're gonna say these guys accomplished these goals on the same night so special. Big names -- we talked about Jerry West. Patrick Ewing -- -- Derrick obviously still playing ai although he didn't shoot the ball hit Charles Barkley. And you know everybody knows Charles now as a very entertaining. Sports and NBA analysis analysts think it's. But it was a hell of a ballplayer. And I have a new name me -- fault here. This at all until they got a -- it I'm afraid we was -- Don't mean. Doubting me a little. Everybody has called the troops active in the name I'm gonna call on the foundation. Because wallow in Donnie talked about this life. On this team this year case he's the guy defensively. When this Big Three and including -- all came together it doesn't we're worked good here doesn't allow it to work make it work. Paul Pierce through this role on this era of the Celtics has been the foundation. What I. I totally agree 110% you think about why Ray Allen came here you know we know cagey game because of right right right pull them along a little bit. But -- came here. Because Paul was here but you know KG said if they trade hall. Then they can trade me about those how special Paul Pierce is -- and the thing that I don't think enough people talk about is. -- -- plays basketball right you know he really is and what that means is obviously he wasn't on them no kidding. What that means is that. A lot of guys who come in and I'll say why don't feel -- 110%. You know I'm not sure I can go to and have a headache I'm saying like I contract or get a contract video talk about trading me. Paul Pierce is plays basketball there is really is cool to see them and you mentioned it before when he's fifty years old he'll still be playing basketball somewhere two. He's got a prior to -- there's no -- and guys have to absolutely. Loves the game. More than anybody I mean he blows the game as well.
