Coming to us from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Is Cedric Maxwell the Celtics radio network Max. I Gary tie like your buddy Gary Blair says that if -- were up in Danny Ainge. You would make despite all these deals that you're hearing on the table -- to Andre Jordan whether it's Dwight Howard for Rondo Josh Smith for Paul Pierce. Jerry -- believe that Danny Ainge wants to. Make all of those deals do think that's right well. I think that he would love to make some deals. But this team and and you know look at the future. But right now I think he's still pretty much stand pat because I think what that thing to look at because Rondo he would be -- -- that you use. You would be that Q and you we don't have it right now he's injured. You're not gonna get that fair value did too quick warm so I don't see any major moves are going to be made by this team at this time. While they ask you if you are -- agent about Rajon Rondo the Celtics take Dwight Howard. Would you trade Rajon Rondo for Dwight Howard. I do what I do like the way I would I would make sure I would trade like that. Because Rondo as good as he is I think I would love to have a big like that. I don't know how you like give me trouble Thomas -- but I put in there because if you got opportunities to give up big like that. I thought they did it feel good at all. Because because of Rondo with the talent level. Even when you talked about getting Chris Paul. -- is another trade it was gonna be -- where Rondo but rather as a great player but he he gets something in value in return like that I think you make that deal. Okay so Rondo for Dwight Howard you do that one. Would you do Kevin Garnett for DeAndre Jordan and absolutely would. Absolutely -- because Kevin Garnett really is the heart and soul of what this team does. Awful we have to the floor offensively -- defensively what do you think you look at Jordan Jordan is a great defender but -- visibly we've seen him. He can't knock down free throws his this is Null and void so. I don't take him right now even at his young age I think we have learned this -- -- three years left I think he's going to play well I think he'll retire in green. Okay so that's -- no. How about all -- for Josh Smith. No puck in that would be no because. Paul Pierce is a hall of famers Josh Smith is a gap from time -- time you don't know what you might yet he's a tremendous talent but there been times when he's had problems. Not only on the court. But off the court and Paul Pierce has not been that way so I don't bring anybody into the -- that I think it would be really a detriment to what you've done as the felt. I've actually asking more about Kevin Garnett behind this fascinating. You know I do believe that he is a loyal guy I mean I totally believe that about a IQ was loyal to Minnesota. -- really need to be I think he's loyal to the Celtics I think when he says this stuff ball winded dyed green and whatnot I think. There is some genuine this to that so I mean I I I believe all of that. However outside of that. Why wouldn't want this day I wanna stay here vs go to the Clippers probably a better team. Better chance to win close to his home let's face it a better place to live. You tell me. Why the guy that that was that's OK let's go win it that way. Los -- necessarily isn't the better place to live I think the best place to play right now is with the felt. The legacy is there. He is a guy he's a preacher -- He loved Doc Rivers he -- the Celtics -- -- -- the change in his personality and to fit in with another team that's what he won't he doesn't want to do. He does have a no trade clause so I don't think that he does make double -- last. Doc Rivers makes that home so Doc Rivers there I think that is a huge part right now. Watch Kevin Garnett is still with Boston in the -- that he loves the green. But to find that odd backs that guy would prioritize like that appeared in it it seems to me that. Garnett mindset on this is -- again and go back to the Minnesota Timberwolves thing. Wanna leave Minneapolis there was no reason to be there either so if this is -- land and I think it is he's unique. Well I think he's very unique in that way of his loyalty back. He's been waiting here. I think that's the point give up with me it would Minnesota that he wasn't when he didn't win the championship. He's won the championship he's been to the finals he's seen all these things these opportunities still might be there that's what Kevin Garnett has looked in the yes would you want to play with a grab a guy like Chris Paul I think you work but I still feel right now if you come to LA he's gonna have to change what he's done. But most of his career than -- did it here and I don't look real -- in the. Our guys all that being said. You know what the Celtics first approached the Timberwolves about this trade Garnett said no and he said no and he said -- And then they traded for Ray Allen and they -- bottom and they made the -- he changed his mind and not only did come to Boston. Is now signed to extensions to stay in Boston solid -- Garnett today. He's also shown the ability to change his mind and now we got till 3 o'clock tomorrow and you're just saying. No shot. Absolutely no shot I don't think Kevin Garnett leaves here I don't they give me any reason that Kevin Garnett is point to pull the trigger and say that he wants to leave Boston. He has been loyal to the team they've won championships they've won the championship. He's been to the finals this is the place that I think Kevin Garnett will live and die in Boston. As a basketball player.
