What do you think Adrian. The Celtics plan is going forward here. You know it's this -- and I think. And I know people brought -- here and I know they want they're gonna do something they're not gonna do something and I talked to be any. About this the day you know -- injury. -- all of all they got the MRI back and he was up this season which is until you know what do you it was a product utility -- people say. Let's go younger less. You know let's dump. You know Garnett and pierce and get younger. Like in theory you can say -- -- like we'll see without their but it please see what your performance you and what's going to be either the deadline. Yeah you can't know what you're gonna do and I think that's work Boston I think Boston opened everything you want to built and everything last year and got down. You know got down to the wire and decided to keep -- group together. But I just think it's art. Our number one KG. He doesn't he doesn't like change he likes his routine he likes what he has -- air and he's not going to be open to. Leading his no trade to go somewhere in. I think the -- are probably stand pat but. Someone might -- sort of bowled them over with young players and draft picks for pierce or KG. You know I think the walked -- -- -- -- let me ask you you say you think they'd be open to anything but how could it be open to anything. If they gave Kevin Garnett that no trade protection. Yeah and I think for KG that was important. In coming back and I think -- so when they get to KG deal. You know they still hope for the Al Lucas. And then you collapsed and they signed Carey and only about that would make up for a you know also it's going to be the dirt -- KG Republican at the move pierce first. I don't think it's unlikely are really do that not -- -- possible but I just think in this current NBA. We're -- picks and young players and guys whose salary you can control. For the foreseeable future. -- the scenes are not. Apt to -- those things up. For the guys who were in their mid to late thirties you know aging all stars I don't know that there's a team out there who looks and says. The -- -- -- you week appears that put to so it probably win the title. And were willing to mortgage some of our future to do that nobody is willing to mortgage your future anymore they'd rather yellows they -- track of being competitive. Over the long on the putting out there right in the basket for one. Or to see that you're not seeking court or going for like that anymore. I think in the short term they've done things better without much in the ball has moved better. I think defensively they've been better in some spots over the long term they need Rondo to win in the post season I think the problem with -- Rondo has been. You know he walked four actually he will be up and down and you'll see in played extremely high level against big opponent to big games. And then go to the throttle or go somewhere else. And not play and not have that focus or play at that level on the -- questions so in the short term do I think they got a rocket booster and going out. Have they played better than they were -- so yeah I can buy it but I don't think. That's been a trend over the long term like so they if they want to be a factor in the playoffs. They have to happen because you're not -- political views. Adrian of any of the of rumored deals involving Garnett that have been floated out there that you've heard whether it's the Clippers. Whether it's the Nuggets I was just reading a story the Denver Post anything else you've heard of we haven't. Is there anyone to you that says -- There might actually be a chance there on that one. That there's been on and an even those two that were reported. -- I was told there's just not anything there and and so. If they move Garnett might might feel will be. I wanna hear about it you won't hear about it it'll be it below get them very quietly. And don't do it you know even get a Kendrick Perkins -- real deal. Which are you know I remember it broke and I got it right before the trade deadline like fifteen minutes of I gotta sit but the deal was done. And it was -- ever go to whisper those conversations and in my senses. That's how it would go down that that was the deal for KG and I haven't heard anything out there that has any real -- so. You know sort of mentioning get a divorce in our -- Yahoo! Sports but -- yeah. Build a champion in the NBA it's a -- -- is so damn hard agent either you're in Miami in Los Angeles and you're able to lure free agents or basically everybody else. You just gotta suck in the right you're not the ping pong ball bounces your way in that given year and I don't know. How else to do with the Celtics what they did was a near miracle in that league sort of building from a a group of mid -- draft picks but. Do you think that in general it's changed the that the number of teams one disabled just take it you mentioned this before but. We're just gonna take it go to the lottery and take our chances that that thing that approach. Is sort of losing favor. It is an -- and you're right about you know the big market being able to. Cleared cap space and then go after and it's been that -- the Lakers that it would check when they built -- group that won the -- -- checked in Miami obviously -- -- Com Chicago became. A contender because they -- 1% chance of getting Derrick Rose and the ball bounces your way. In the got a great coach and Tom Thibodeau and and so they got in. Fight but but I think it really liking like Denver you looked at them and they're they've done it the cited injuries have a tremendous job and rebuilding that team. And lots of good young players who were growing together I don't think they're ever going to be -- got the win the championship but the better team that went fifteen games going forward in. People want to hear you say -- I don't think they can do better than that and so that's the reality.
