For years most every -- the American League east as the game's toughest division. Since 2003. It's produced five pennant winners and three World Series champs and more often than not. Multiple playoff teams now if anything big east is better than ever the Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays. Par -- perennial contenders and the Orioles snapped a streak of fourteen straight losing seasons by winning the wildcard last year. And no team improve this past winner more than the Toronto blue Jets. The Yankees are aging and we'll have to depend on Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera. To recover from major injuries but the lineup is powerful and the rotation is -- Making the Yankees a force again Tampa -- off James Shields to rebuild. Will Myers will give the weak lineup problems but the race once more depend on their pitching staff -- deep rotation. And in improvise and built on journeyman bullpen led by Fernando Rodney. Tired of being also -- Toronto added three starters Josh Johnson. Mark early and RA Dickey in addition to all stars Jose Reyes and Melky Cabrera. That should make them relevant. But as history teaches us winning the winter doesn't always translate to the summer and fall. The Orioles did nothing to improve and after they -- freakish success in one run games and extra inning contest might be in line for a step back. So where does that leave the Red Sox. We've improved starting pitching they have a chance to get into the middle of the division had perhaps an 85 win season. Without it right back where we left them in the face.
