You said philosophically would Jones be talking about. Sacrificing quantity and quality impact guys how -- you're talking about that's exactly right to and they looked. That's not something that that certain you know certain people would do I get that adamant as an organization we hated them. Right to build good. I I can't answer that but I I know that there are a lot of organizations out there who worked for this and and again the greatest greatest thing that I remember talking to bill about this mean bill. Was it was very outspoken with me from the standpoint of you know your organization better than anyone. And it's your decision to make that -- and so just like bill knows his organization better than anyone else. We talked a lot about that it was right for our organization to make the move for Julio Jones and get another. Very very strong. Explosive type player around that Ryan while he was evolving. I mean look we we have Tony Gonzales around we have Roddy White to bring in a guy like Julio was important for us to have more tools around him do evil. Thomas did it drop again general manager in Atlanta former personal man with. The Patriots joins -- on radio row we were frustrated in New England. Where you get to a draft board you'd see a guy sitting here I'm putting my finger appear to watching the listening on the radio. And you're out here and now I have my other finger wideout Eric and bill was always so reluctant to -- move up and you know if anything you guys just. Doubt it out down and out down I was out of a frustrating as a about it later tell -- wanted to go get a guy because. Think I think more than anything -- -- have an opportunity around -- got -- philosophically about how they were building teams was was huge for me and for us. You know as a as a as a you know college scouting director that was big. I I again having an opportunity to switch it now being you know it was sitting in the seat I am now what -- sneak in -- pulled the trigger. My personality is is. Much more let's let's let's I hate to -- take chances but. We all know and in business and today whether it's outside of sport that there are things you're gonna have to do -- have to to be aggressive with and we didn't have the football team that the New England Patriots did we we didn't have a the the ability to and and the players in the team to -- continuing to trade -- we needed to get people that are. Building now that we're going to be impact what type people we were going to be around long enough. Bill was established as he was and he can do it everywhere he whatever he can do you know that. As good as he has we needed to come in and be aggressive that we weren't gonna sit on our hands there was no way -- that I talked about it the very first year we came in 2008. We are going to be aggressive we were gonna be flippant -- our decisions but. By god we were gonna go after what we felt was gonna affect disorganization help us be a winning competitive organization do you Warriors organization about Matt Ryan and his -- some. Tight situations late in the season I don't worry that I don't worry that he -- that shotgun snap that's but I don't do that we do. Yeah you know I think those -- those situations for us that you know -- continues to grow with every experience. I've not seen that before that was something out of them out of the ordinary obviously for -- because he is such a ice type player for us. And that was unfortunate and I don't worry about -- that we have a big decision not a big decision we know the decision we want that to be with us for many years to come. You know is his contract is around quarter for us in and it's it's when you when you sign a quarterback of his status. You know you're gonna -- value you put your team together as well that's that's again going to be new for us.
