It's good to be AT&T -- so right now I'm free and I CS NNE dot com Celtics insider A Sherrod Blakely our rights to ride the trade deadline. A little more than three weeks away we knew dating age was going to be active with or without Rondo but how does rod goes injury change what age might do. Well when you look at the problems they've had this season -- clearly front court player has been an issue but obviously. We'll run being gone for the rest of the season their focus is gonna -- a little bit more towards the perimeter and looking at guys that they can bring it to help solidify that backcourt. Now initiative and look -- -- been trying to help the point guard duties but certainly if you're gonna look outside you got to give guys like Ronald Kyle -- guy who is a very. -- point -- got a very manageable traitor really contract and in all likelihood the Celtics might be able to get a deal go through that won't cost me -- which. Frankly nobody is willing to -- right now. Sure rod is the way to Celtics roster is constituted is it easy for age maybe to go out there make a trade and bring in the necessary help. Or is he pretty much hamstrung by the contracts and let's face it the value he has on this roster but when you look at this team. And -- you know that it's going to be very difficult for him to swing the kind of deals that when you look at some of the deals than in the past have been absolutely -- blockbuster. Like -- Kevin Garnett. Ray Allen and in those type group absolutely. He's gonna do whatever you can but I still think -- my -- and I think when you look at guys like Fort Lee and Brandon bass and Jason Terry guys that they signed this summer's long term deals. You know at that time he'll look great if you're gonna people. But trying to move those kind of guys with the number of years they have left their deals it's going to be very difficult for the Celtics to do that. And get a player of greater talent or -- to say in return. Jerod as ludicrous as it may sound like here we go some people believe the Celtics may be better off without Rondo the four time all star the league's leading assist man. Would say you. Two dances and act how I had to for a regular season I think they are gonna be a little bit better in the regular season with proper. -- because it puts a greater onus on those guys to play up to the level that they've proven that they've been able to play at. At other stops long engagement how Weber we all know that around here it's about what he's done in the playoffs and -- no. Far away is the best way -- elevating his game. When the games matter most thought that they can give final regular season without Rondo and that has finished. I think as high -- fifth in the east because I think that pieces that we can I think is still that open. But when you get to the playoffs and you talk about winning not just the series -- -- will I really going deep into the playoffs.
