-- -- of the cross exam but there's just certain of Terry Francona book on the prevail redden. Is any doubt that that didn't. And the way it did. It wouldn't be any book or your first date after looking at and looking through it and reading. I did read it and I I think the book is great it's well written shots did a wonderful job and it's hugely entertaining. My two major problems with that is that Francona has Major League turtle. After the fact he wants to read the whole bulletin realize that he's a great owners and great people. I don't think that they're good people haven't been dealt a month thing to dead people I think they've been great owners to World Series championships with test of that. Got up what you said it's so rip job on the owners of the -- -- that is what it is is a rip job in the Red Sox. They have to say otherwise is hugely disingenuous here -- you could say that good owners ten times -- book if you want but when you talked about stories and that back up a lot of the feelings towards ownership I think that's all people see what was your take when you saw first read it looked through it and just Terry Francona doable yeah. Our first ball too much for a -- a thousand in cash grab by Shaughnessy and Francona wasn't I mean -- was really researched and -- great I'll say that's worth getting. By the same reaction -- Stephens just disappointed Francona. You have to figure from this angle John Henry gave -- on every. For eight years basically eight and Terry Francona is a failure Phillies -- -- team that you know one -- in five games. Went to game seven the ALCS that had a chilling and fault. Hundreds of million dollars for you load in load in those. -- then well after you left now I guess it didn't surprise to Francona still 1718 months later this bitter Hillary talks about. He's still this bitter about what exactly. I mean he's Frankel accusing you or is it being one of the -- the whole story. If you've never actually said that and that's what he thinks that's different but he's never said that so that's all of the owners what is that sent. Did you think the main change at all about this ownership group and -- is public so I agree that. You would have these guys -- wasn't really what the players which is probably a lot to do with the collapse that September you have to these guys. My opinion units has changed they have if you look at the entire body of work if you the World Series championship the money invested -- role. These changes in his Fenway Park and so on and on and on. It is wonderful last three years as I wrote my column in the today they've in The Marx Brothers they've been awful they've made many many missteps. And they're paying for it now. Crawford the Gonzales think a lot of stuff hasn't heart and I do believe they have stepped their snouts in baseball operations when they shouldn't. And they shouldn't be that the professionals do you guys think that they should care about ratings you know they should care about selling yeah. But it should not always in the way of putting eighteen together. You know if Theo Epstein to look at this what we wanna do this the players that I won't will go get another player that sexier all -- we're in will will will spend the money which is what you -- and ownership to do obviously don't spend the money if a year or next off season I can't improve it because this player that Brian watts I think. That was anybody on August 31 2011 upset about the teams put together. But he doesn't know I don't think they're richt always troops and I don't think he was upset either having to look at the collapse I think it's. Really falls largely on -- waiting for the owners the -- of September Francona admitted first the ball. He's hoarding painkillers all yours is paint post up the court talked about. Was accurate may be overblown and inaccurate and the team quit.
