It's always tough when the season comes to a crash landing -- Bill Belichick put it. As disappointing as that Ravens game was no. It was still something to be happy about excited about some performances that are worth taking a look at we're gonna do that right now -- -- call them. -- player of the year John Brady might be Hawaii and beat and I have to read. It's not often Rob Ninkovich I think he. It was absolutely outstanding this season a breakout year for him he did so many different things we know all about his versatility and about how he's just like Mike Vrabel what really. Put it altogether in 2000 well. He was the best pass rusher. He was the best edge setter for the run there wasn't anything about the need to do we it was a big play guy always played his best big game he did -- on Sunday night as well with two sacks. Rob Ninkovich outstanding teams. For second play is going to be Wes Welker and I can't say anything that people haven't already said about this guy he really just his production the consistency is -- -- I've lost all kinds of attitudes for this guy he does it all he's just so darn consistent. A hundred plus pitches for the fifth time an NFL record catches eight balls Sunday night he's getting lit up every single week but he just keeps getting back up. And back into the game yes he had some drops too many dropped this season but overall 2012 was another great year for Wes Welker to got to get back. Vital player and I take a look at the big guy in the middle of that defense it's rule -- you know the whole whole year other all pro year and again his versatility to me. Never ceases to amaze -- to play on the -- you can play tackle which you know play outside and he could get penetration on running plays on pass plays he runs down screens I think the run defense was a constant that Patriots defense all season long. They shut down on the ground attack that all starts with number 75 in the middle. Vince Wilfork and have a terrific season.
