Danny Paille scored, Greg Campbell and Shawn Thornton each fought. All in all it was a quality game for the B's energy line.

Energy line and what we talk about the fourth line and call the energy line sometimes it's in the pejorative but. Generally brought the game tonight that they did -- and I actually talked all week with Daniel IA Shawn Thornton Gregory Campbell. About the down here that they had last year how much they wanted to bounce back there were combined minus fifteen last year the energy was -- inconsistent they weren't as good as in the Stanley Cup here. And they looked determined to change that tonight DUI -- gets the goal Shawn Thornton and Gregory Campbell both have. Epic ouch that really inspired the bench and pumped up their teammates right after the -- that scored. They seized back that momentum and it was the perfect for like performance. Opportunistic offense and bring in that energy that the Bruins need it was a great speaking of opportunity Milan Lucic we are worried about his conditioning he gets the first goal this season. So that gets them going and and gets thrown out of the game a little bit -- what do you make of who wasn't that the guy that before the game we said was going to be up to a slow start wasn't gonna do much I'm so much I think he wanted to shut all of us up and shut everybody up in the media. He's heard people saying he's out of shape that he didn't work our whole lot else going on he was on prepared for the season to start -- guys like. That motivated him in a motivated you Lucic is a fire breathing monster on the guys he was hitting people four hits in the game. Three shots on net that first goal that energized everybody. And should -- the critics like me good job by him right now he just needs to sustain that. And play like that motivated locomotive for the rest of the -- and Tuukka Rask pretty good angle to -- twenty shots gave up -- 11 of Brad Richards I don't think anybody can stop that that was a perfect shot over locker into the upper corner but the defense really. Just didn't give the Rangers many good looks that it does Zdeno Chara was dominant tonight very good I really just swallowed up Rick Nash. We didn't even notice him out on the ice he was the invisible men out there. This new acquisition for the New York Rangers that's all about defense for -- and that but I think that -- was tested a little bit early in the game and he was up for the task. He was better than -- -- Henrik Lundqvist had to -- violated in this game Lundqvist giving up juicy rebounds including that Lucic goal in the first period while the grass was shutting things down. A great start for him and the Bruins this year.
