Remember us. My GI -- let me the great American. Hockey that's right hockey show you remember him because he's up with the Patriots all the time me have been like missing in action there and I'm excited until I hit. -- we are -- too much. What quality time with the wife and -- the dogs though it's it's real good lot of home improvement front I was Xavier does your wife like you right now not really sure what's gonna get them and on the road the dog's there happy but -- not so much. I -- -- let's run through some knows the guys that are not apply a little quick progress report we'll -- -- -- Barack. -- -- Providence he's obviously been playing all along and that's a good thing. Attitudes of these get the blood pumping as -- five or six goals inconsistent he had one game where Patrick has had a lot of games -- kind of disappear a little bit. And it's still an unfinished product you don't know quite what happened. It third fourth line guy and I think and on the other hand like 22 goals 24 games sheer dominance leading the Swiss league. In goals scored when guys like Spezza and more and Rick Nash and Patrice Bergeron are -- playing there he's managed to stay out of too much trouble Patrick how do you mean that is the major concern because that is a good thing. Seems to still be the quality kid it was when he left so all over that they'd say we go back to Boston but I think he's been the best player of all the NHL that's the way. It. About the dignity and Danica. They don't have a tough time because that Europe is all about speed skill and that up and down game I think it's a big six foot nine defenseman where it's not as physical league. He struggled that I know one point two loss like -- row when he's -- minus -- so that basically tells -- you know about the he'll be happy with the Angels the grass. Who got back in Boston actually just talked to him the other day he's feeling good the groin is totally fine absolutely dominated in the Czech league which was very good sign. Now he's kind of hanging out for the next couple weeks wait for things get going. I think he's a really good spot right now to have that -- we. But. And that's certainly counting on wood and Thomas somewhere foxhole where. Where I got canned goods and a lot of drag me going up there has been out on average currently. Our family in Finland. He's done fine is that typical which heavily think it's good he's over there he's playing. I guess he's been a little bit of a disappointment Finland I saw some finish FaceBook account where the fans were asking why it was a better player. Which is not really fair I guess for rich families of their life act. But I he's he's staying busy and doing his thing which is. That was the last few guys he'd tell us but that's clubs -- got back and find -- at the net. Richard -- Bob Bergeron in Switzerland he's performing well. I just lost they've played Sagan seems -- actually got veteran the other day he's healthy he's effective he's staying busy and playing. All good things right now so no news good news analyzed. -- -- If you're crazy in the Czech league point per game player. -- in the plus as far as plus minus goes I think he's happy to be home he told me an email I can't -- come back and play here you're going Joyce. Playing in Jack but I think he's been very good which is positive side of the in the bunker on very. My I think about it. Dennis Seidenberg does Seidenberg solid in Germany playing with -- brother there for a man -- I've been doing very well healthy effective. Typical. You know Dennis Seidenberg and not numbers and don't that you yourself. You and I had a pretty cool experience. Not too long ago Derek Sanderson one of the Bruins -- Wrote a book. Which is rising Mitt charts next is you to Canada right now. But tell his life story and not have for people who don't know -- it's a worthy of a read because he's been through a lot. And Helen that really well some of the stuff that he tells you about in the books and in live interviews amazing you know we all think of they got to pass the puck to Bobby your they got it was on the it was great I rock star Boston Bruins teams won a couple of cops at one point was the highest paid athlete in all of sports I when he left the NHL. But that he also tells you my stories about waking up an apartment job by himself. Not knowing where his car is not knowing where his friends are you know people trying to rob him -- waking up under bridges and things like that. Absolutely went from the penthouse to complete rock bottom he's got an inspirational story to tell you talked to each of us about. Bruins insider here with Derek Sanderson America thank you for taking the time what does. Crossing the line book came out who was making nice Christmas present I think for the Bruins are fulfilled. A lot of fun there's a lot of laugh at me. Saw him. That's gone but I mean it's you know could cart -- I went. A lot of fun we have a lot of -- a great team a lot of stories. It's really mainly accomplished that story and then on the heavy side of dealing with here. What went when I'm afraid of much more people. And then did drinking. -- Would it would -- dreadful now what was the reasoning in that time. It was out I think it just kind of went to a I always want to write it. And I never had an injury. But now I'm in the investment business and you know they -- well and you know. Mentioned players' money and it's been doing when in years and thick and ends in. Know where I just out there when he is your career so we deal. Just the golf world it you know wasn't in the pro that the I had to do something and story. What did you get into this business helping athletes. You know with their money and things like that personal experience obviously in view with a that got you into this business that what they stayed. Yeah I enjoy your right and what I did it I it's a route there and I went to my -- -- and I said so I need the money needs to do broke. As an alcoholic who is in serious trouble and needed money in I got a rules -- -- and sure hundreds of how. And you know and that Central Park. Does that. They've been under bridges trying to do is comply and as sister Uday and and should not have any -- No matter where you are and I saw that thirty and thirty the other thing is that it's the Brooklyn guys lost -- -- and -- -- two and a half. Now I got out. And 200 million. And they've lost it because they don't know how to deal with it. It and then -- -- that and seeing -- television. I don't but the deal Philadelphia he -- -- ruin -- day. You take this month. You know I've read what you want understand. If you don't put it away in late July and you. Very prophetic. Any big regrets. Throughout your entire career looking back now on some of those stories some of those things that happen I'm assuming. Signing with Philly might be the biggest regret -- and each other huge regrets they have. No -- you're right your bag if Philly I would -- country he -- and I took that to court I don't that a -- out of it better in the game and you know it certain betterment. Two in that clause now and I get create two compensation. And again me -- And then I left Boston but through all my friends everybody -- -- Any security I had gone and in a lot of money in an attempt. And though it's in the city were you know anybody in and I was. It seems like such you know. Simple kind of he. He kind of thing but I was alone I didn't know. And I had only friends are gone. And my teammates were and -- And that that's part of the -- knowing how to live and so I would sooner. It's rain go viral stories go shopping. -- -- you would do yeah and then it would end in this crazy. And I I feel for all players today get that kind of money that they don't handle properly. Get somebody who'd -- you command. And I don't believe that but just if somebody. That's on us that you -- trust so how happy were you when the Bruins won the Stanley Cup a couple years ago I'm sure. Having played in covered team for so long that you was overjoyed that I was really. Just. Tickled -- I just feel far because they never knew what we used to tellem about. This town will love you take you by by the and embracing just you've got to play form you've got to finish the deal -- battling it out. And some teams have come and go the 88 team and any team. It kind of ran into. Some of them haven't been in an effort. So that was a tough drive it. The news when you hear -- fan. And and what they do it plugged it and then how it played well together and they they believe. That. And and and then you know try to repeat that -- -- like among us feel right and left field line that script you could write in. And -- Guess Louis managed to do -- Joseph what do we managed to do Mikey we managed surreal and Derek Sanderson to doom. Twitter what exactly you know he chuckled a little go to mentioned -- -- so there's nothing like getting one of the greatest the big bad Bruins history to do Twitter attack some of the crazy questions of those Twitter people give us -- up there with some of the Dave Stubbs -- is actually a writer for the the Montreal gazette. It's sweet of you this question asked Derek about the reason that he slugged John elbow and his first game against it's. I was 88 or nine years old and -- end took me to a game she took me to. Comment please and made that gardens who do we are located and and I'm and I think he. And she was -- known company said he -- gondola. And my uncle he was a belief that hopefully. But she gave it hadn't been into that. So I go to push. And they're coming out and I never realized that time. Had a history. You know you're not human prayer yeah -- -- out watts recruited so. Etiquette -- -- and in Pomona and you look and I look. But the movement is that's -- -- Which we have and I did. I whoever and someday. And it -- shifted -- next to me. Used in the corner and he's there I didn't really do anything but I kind of jammed -- up right. It's Monica and virtually so yeah -- went bizarre. And for you were it not as it did some Monica as a kid. That as real crack and then yeah. Very. Yet yeah. He -- -- Mike from Cape Town on Twitter asks. How do you did you feel the game is more violence. Was when you know. I daylight and nine this is good guys. I think I -- them. I believe that when you -- by. Wrote instead frozen water. Nelson sixteen than field period that -- -- but -- massive equipment to put on it and what are your girl. And you put an adult helmet with a -- And neck that said. But by broken and it went and while it is Elizabeth. But he activity hey it -- -- -- They had to learn on nip that in senator now. How you played. And pass and shoot right. So it starts that are. So I was listening to. Vs when it went -- six guys out there and here when maybe you come here by they're talking about concussions. And no one of them ever -- little more down and you have an opinion. That haven't played them down. Went. The thought it comes to anybody with common sense seems like at the normal than it. I Hillary I wasn't even get some interest in -- but and it's not that confident and Allen and those. Then drops it and Marc Savard here you move up and it. You can't do the ticket loses. It's imperative to reserve pool anyway and then he. One final question as the random one. What who -- your favorite flavor of ice cream a -- nobody is ever ask -- -- -- -- no. That was from when you go Myers. Marie he's very -- not to get. That together like they were so maybe. It's special ops stat that is the only guy that I didn't that that they had a lot and that. And it goes right on his. And I mean you won't -- my -- goes quickly and over there thank you very much crossing the logo for. That's it for the great American hockey show Mikey. May be will be seeing more of each other soon when they get aggressive I do mr. Moss. But at. Sex fifth or worse 90% of the time all the time IQ let's get the NHL back cleanly as soon.
