So was last night the Detroit Tigers putting Joseph Girardi -- New York Yankees out of their misery come clean completing this week. And the ALCS the Bronx bombers more like that's as the Yankees offense fell silent in the post season batting a paltry 188. It's the first time since the 1976. World Series they've been swept in a best of seven. In theory that you got though they're New York media having a field day with the yanks play about the front page of the -- reading here yankees. We don't date losers side New York Daily News Brady who moved. But that it yanks -- fans -- them props for getting swept. The back page of the -- Right where nothing. Now both the Yankees. And the Red Sox -- themselves with more questions than answers this offseason the Sox coming off their worst year since the mid sixties -- reloading joining us and -- we know you always have the answers we got to start in the Bronx Alex Rodriguez dismal last three post seasons it just 111 in the ALCS. -- do a whole lot of money a 114 million dollars over the next five years what do you think the Yankees should do with this guy. Well I think it should try to deal this guy of course that's easy to say guys those 114 million dollars you know we're not talking about. They're the Red Sox eating a last year Julio Lugo or directory were talking about possibly having to eat 7580 million dollar security right -- The Dodgers are much of much more money to spend up there he did that for the Boston Red Sox federal talks down to Miami but still you ask yourself how much was out for biggest work. The Miami Marlins from the area about how much -- willing to pay this guy I think you have to quietly kind of pursue other options. But then rely on if he's still there saves as other offseason has got to get healthy -- still the opening a DH we do try to keep him healthy and -- because he's -- Rodriguez happily awful year it's an average year for every throughout the production line. Cashman says they are trading him Hal Steinbrenner says they'll address it this off season. Meanwhile new York and Boston we know they have some issues when it comes to starting pitching it's expected these guys will be in the rotation for their respective clubs next season -- Boston getting back to. New York Michael Pineda so who is in better shape gave him my -- at the Sox have a whole lot less money on the books for. Next year than New York. CC sabathia which is fantastic defense New York Yankees are such as don't have one mean. Forget Jon Lester might have been trending towards that guy that can give you 200 plus innings and I know CC went through some injuries but they don't have anybody else in the match that. So I still give the advantage the Yankees they still have their horse their guy and we look at those guys a lot of turnaround gonna come from the Red Sox I mean Lester. Buckle those guys that turn this thing a run to -- with a good rookie year didn't get tired on the stretcher towards this -- here and they've been they got in the data that any good John Lackey. Who really knows what's coming out of that I still believe both you if you can get secondary -- you know we don't have that breaking ball going. He sort of gets lost with your fastball and Ivan Nova had a great year two years ago. He's got a lot of anything to do -- -- as well but I think we look at him. I'm not sure of that ability the rotation perfectly honest with the Braves but the Yankees have CC that play given not. Yet buys the conversation starts and ends with CC sabathia Luke thanks so much got a direct.
