As a Rhodes was the shot I shoot out tonight Felger and Chris medics are Claude Julien also went on to say about that -- that it was reckless on the part of Tamara. But not totally dirty which I think is an act you'll really a good way to put it Chris because. She Varitek about what he ran their -- opt out mid -- fourteenth -- that he -- Edmonton was saying on the telecast so obviously charging but the play did turn. At the last minute now let's turn to the Boston Garden dating coach -- of knighted by the sport's public to think that hit. And what your up knowing how what equates looking at here. Yeah I didn't I wasn't crazy about they have -- that I I would say I thought that his couple of things charging can be especially major penalty for charging. How far did the player travel and wasn't a violent hit and I think both of those criteria. Were met there is the one of the issues is now you you're not allowed to hold players up. So nobody could really get a generic way he's coming from senator rice. -- does turn at the last second there now mr. -- have an opportunity to turn away not real. On -- miles an hour at that point so I wasn't crazy about the hit hopefully. It's only situation where McCoy -- Maybe it sounds to -- healing is said he didn't kill -- himself well. They're gonna take a precaution they're all about the rest of the game so. Well sabre goals from here but I wasn't crazy about -- one of the problems is that you can't hold guys up anymore. Davis play devil's advocate here -- -- is a valuable defenseman this evening at two about defense and at the trade deadline. If he is out for awhile for awhile how big a loss as. Well this significant is somebody the special over the last couple years they've depended on to play a regular role back there and with Seidenberg out although they don't think that seriously -- a cut on the leg and LA and was able to play a couple of -- and I was get a little bit of an infection but it does test their depth a little bit like models and the odd guy out recently. Shannon seems to -- on the cell -- home back there but it equated self pretty in any period of time you'd think that motto would get back in -- Seidenberg is not ready to go right away. Well this is why they try to Purdue defense and we're -- a shot there of Joseph corps -- I think the value of those trades where that gets -- -- off the ice the Bruins went on this run. When -- got benched I don't think that's a coincidence -- comes back on the ice tonight. And I think she was a liability but they take the loss with corporal while they're so I think that the more callable is on the bench or in street clothes. The better for this team gave it wasn't a look ahead to the playoffs a little bit Washington is nipping at the heels. That eighth spot it really -- Buffalo would be a stretch for those teams to catch Ottawa and that's up and spot but it's a possibility Washington it is in that mix of teams. At the bottom of the conference anyway that the Bruins could face so you tell me of Ottawa. New Jersey. Washington tonight Buffalo who do you wanna avoided through the Bruins that. I think probably in that mix Mike I think probably Buffalo -- they played so well here lately they blew a Washington a couple of nights ago in Washington. George talked about goaltender second steal a series and Ryan Miller -- playing roles and a birdie here over the last few weeks ago. To me it's probably the Sabres because they've -- they've been playing playoff games here for so long just to getting in. And they've been playing real well I think with -- Washington you don't know what you're gonna get from one night to the next I either game they played against Buffalo which is terrible for them the other night. I'm not sold on Ottawa's goaltending I know Craig Anderson had a good year for the most part but the Bruins have been able to handle. So to me the team I'd probably like to see them stay away from a Buffalo in the first round. Okay Dave quickly what do you think of the baseline expected expectation for the team in the playoffs. -- you'd like to see them make a deep run to me that -- you like to at least see him get to the conference finals I consider them one of the top teams in the east and a Pittsburgh Santa. A terrific run here with Crosby back they're dangerous races have been real good all year but. To -- the Bruins are right that upper Echelon and you'd love to at least see them get to the final four.
