-- As always bring an -- Fred Rodney Harrison from NBC's football night in America. Let's get right to it Rodney Albert -- worth released by the Patriots this week. Did you expect this to go the way it did. I did not thought -- -- you don't didn't all Albert in all season out well it was actually a good mood -- move. I thought he was gonna come in and become a motivated player. Give back to what he was earlier in his career 200320052007. With the Tennessee Titans I'm very disappointed and Albert they paid a lot of money not the wind picked Washington Redskins and -- got to have that type of security. That type of contract to come out and not. And basically quit Tom and when people look back. One Albert Haynesworth made. They're gonna speak of him as a got overweight I've got to quit I got -- got paid a lot of money and really went out the wrong way you very disappointing and and that's exactly what he said we came to New England rugby this is my chance to rehabilitate my name I think back to 2000 you have that off season. Patriots went out. They got a player that they wanted to try and make. Part of their system take them from the page they were on to the next page he was a guy who's been in the league for a little while was Rodney Harrison. Now the Patriots try to acquire guys will later on their careers whether it's Derrick Burgess and it was Thomas. Or even Albert Haynesworth and it just doesn't work is the magic gone and not coming back. I wouldn't say that sometimes you go with certain players and you know you go out you get a guy you can take a chance on Corey Dylan Rodney Harrison. And it pays dividends all the times you go on getting Albert Haynesworth and all the guys and it doesn't exactly pan out the way you would like. When you thought he kind of got pumped up player like Leigh Bodden and Albert Haynesworth obviously Bill Belichick he's not happy. With he's trying to send a message and I'm happy with the defense but he also have guys. Like Brandon Spikes on and Jerod Mayo they're injured right now so right now they're struggling. I think they get back to running the ball protecting Tom Brady and just playing tight aggressive defense. When you talk about that offense we've seen Tom Brady party -- ten picks for the season high for this guy is fourteen. Why is Tom throwing the ball to the other team so often because nobody in NFL history has been better at taking care of the ball than he has in the air. -- -- -- -- What Tom's throwing interceptions first offensive line you have to start with the offensive line. Teams that are good Russian teams that run different -- running different types of blitzes they're putting pressure point Tom Brady. Every once as the blueprint widely thought -- the blueprint -- beat the Patriots is tight man to man coverage press and pressure up the middle and forcing topped out with left. Teams are starting to do that. And this offensive line has not protected Tom I think the second issue is Tom he stared at his receivers he doesn't feel comfortable. People are playing tight man to man coverage we got -- all -- -- -- what we call Robert Plant in this in the in the middle of the field when Wes Welker or got. Are coming across the middle. You have someone there and I think the third thing is really. Their press and Tom Brady is present because he knows that. This defense isn't very good they're gonna give up a lot of points are gonna give up like -- lot of yards and he's put a lot of pressure on himself to block there and make plays. So he just needs to relax they need to run the football but they have the more poorly in any pain you have to protect top. Last question and keep -- quick the New York Jets are on a three game winning streak. They have the Patriots this week down there are the Patriots in the siege mentality where they say it's us against the world we're gonna put together good performance. What does a nosedive continue. How I really believe they rebound in this situation the Jets are playing pretty good football and -- on -- roll up and hostile environment in Buffalo. And to win that football game in Buffalo they have a very explosive offense I thought that was I thought I was impressed that. I think the Patriots -- there if they establish the run they can't turn the ball over like they did the playoffs last year I think the Patriots win this football. Beautiful Rodney Harrison great stuff folks you're going to be able to watch him one. Football night in America this Sunday when the pats for the Jets.
