-- Trash talk brought to you by the Waste Management knew that Stuart Dempster in the bag which can take it -- This is that Dexter dot com for more -- The defense is on the hot seat for this week's edition of. -- top Chad Henne and a Dolphins passing game and move the ball well Monday night. Early season blip on the radar or. Cause for concern. Color me concerned you know what I look at the play makers on this defense the three defensive captains -- according to -- -- Vince Wilfork I pulled to a high standard -- high expectations. I was looking for -- it would be a defensive player of the year candidate. I didn't seem too much at all in Miami than chase Reggie Bush across the field. And the Dolphins picked on -- according Vince Wilfork was simply OK He didn't dominate the line of scrimmage like -- expected against a rookie centers so. I have my concerns that I know it's a work in progress but. That's not a very good dolphins' offense right there that offensive line that quarterback and they put up a lot of yards and it wasn't a great effort to start the season. Sure I think you could have expected more against when I think it is a pedestrian offense and certainly a sub par offensive line but it's so early and I think because the fact. There's so many new parts to this defense I mean virtually all new up front others and will force a change would be harder yet Ellis. You have even mocking Anderson part of that group Leigh Bodden Spurs came back to had a rookie in Ras I Dowling out they're starting. And Josh Barrett playing safety that's a lot of newness to -- defense on. Game number one. To get overly concerned I'm not there yet I think there's a lot of room to grow I agree with you there was some concerning things that happened last Monday night but to me. There's so much more room to grow I think the potential is there. If they were just a few plays where they weren't on the same page I wouldn't be as concerned what bothers me is the physical battles one on one my according vs Brandon Marshall -- thought Brandon Marshall one. Even Vince Wilfork up -- I expected him to dominate in that offensive line He was simply okay Jerod Mayo. You're an all low pro linebacker you're chasing Reggie Bush across the field closer than 5 yards to I am concerned about the individual match up. Maybe they'll get it may be it'll come together in two or three weeks. I have high expectations I wanted to see more like what I saw in Tampa in the pre season where they were controlling the game to me the game was getting taken to them much -- Yeah but there were some other individual matchup that I thought were positive I don't hands weren't really controls the play. Certainly enriching cocky when He was in another problem was the wasn't out there all that often -- about thirty snaps and it's -- in -- -- but I think as the season goes on. You're gonna see the stamina get a little bit better for the big guy I think. He's going to be more of -- I think bill will try to use him a little bit more and some different ways. I think that they might be able to get a little bit more exotic in terms of their past Russian in some of the things that they can do once they're more comfortable you had a rookie out there in the secondary. You had a safety who might as well be a rookie so I don't think Belichick wanted to really dial up too much I think again the potential here I think is for something special last year. I thought they had they come on all you along defensively. This year I think they can dictate the way games played as the season goes on the offenses get better starts this week -- -- Diego Philip Rivers has been the offensive line is better the weapons are better if they weren't able ready against the Dolphins in handy award -- -- gonna do against in those three Pro -- -- that you talk about -- --
