-- -- -- -- -- inside joke that he's in the eighteenth -- webs on. -- -- you take Patrice Bergeron out of the picture Joe you take one of those the best leaders on the team we got it means so much I can think of seven very different ways to contribute some team. But I you yeah -- there's no doubt that it's as simple as this. Patrice Bergeron was the best player on the Boston Bruins in the best post season that they've had an almost twenty years. -- twelve points and eleven games who's winning 64% of his face us. He was great in the defensive zone playing great two way hockey that line of Bergeron and recchi. In March on a plus 45 in the playoffs admits that that elimination game against the flyers. They've just been dynamite -- been one of the best lines if not the best slide and all of the NHL tonight you're talking about removing that Conn smythe candidate. Removing the best forward from the Bruins mix and having them go for that's a tough task. For anybody. Well -- remove let's talk about the effects of rushing back from a difficult injury we've seen it with. -- with his teammate Marc Savard before we've also seen it with Sid the kid. In Pittsburgh right now without history and mine and we can go on I'm with other players as well but it doesn't certain point to do that we'll we'll just work with what we have. How conservative do you think the Bruins are going to be in bringing him back and their timetable. -- going to be very conservative given the past history let's face it he missed almost an entire season with an extremely bad concussion. He got back into 20070. Weighed against that Randy Jones the Philadelphia Flyers never came back that year he missed the month the next time he had a concussion. The year after that against Dennis Seidenberg who is now -- obviously the Carolina Panthers. How are much less extreme concussion the second time around. Peter Shirley said today -- was a mild concussion and it was even less extreme than that concussion that you're seeing right now against Dennis Seidenberg. So it's that it's still the least of any of the concussions that's the lowest grade could possibly get. He left guys on this case you know he left the building on his own two feet it was kind of escorted out helped though by some us from friends but. At the same -- lose it you know it didn't seem like it was all that bad when you saw that. And you heard kind of the circumstantial evidence surrounding him leaving the building and the way left the ice so. You know it. They're obviously gonna be conservative they're not gonna rush him back until he's symptom free especially. With the past history -- you're really gonna treated with kid gloves because he would the re aggravation of that. And then the post concussion syndrome can come back very very quickly so I think they're gonna be treated with caution but at the same time it's optimistic that some mild concussion. All right well it certainly leaves a roster spot open for all the people who have been banging the drum for Tyler -- he looks like the guy that's going to be and here's -- surely talking about. He's actually really really put his nose the grass or practice them. And I think watching from above he sees. The intensity that tenacity of of the game so we feel he deserves a chance. Plus she's gonna give us an offensive boost or so. -- -- de young guy can handle it. Yeah I saw I mean obviously he's gonna have to toughen up a little bit it's going to be. Quite a challenge for them he hasn't played since April 10 that's almost a month now since you last played in a competitive NHL hockey game. He's been scratched. Warmed up and then warmed up with the team before games started and not play any of those games so that's pretty different difficult for a nineteen year old kid to jump right into the fray. A playoff hockey but let's face he's got the shot he's got the speed of the. The offensive instincts he could probably help that power play quite -- And I think he's chomping at the bit to get in there and get involved I think maybe it's gonna take gamer too. For him to really get into the flow and he's definitely gonna have to be heavier on the -- strong or on the puck harder in the boards more competitive all around that he was during the regular season but I think you started to see evidence of that towards the end of the regular season they really was start to get that fire burning in his belly a little bit. Let's face it. They're gonna need a lot of Tyler Sagan and -- series like this because. Don't forget Sidney Crosby had a mild concussion on January 1 and when a classic and he never played again after that so can be -- the rest of the way.
