Kemba Walker belongs on the court. The former Boston Celtics guard has made that abundantly clear over the last three games after being benched for three weeks.

Walker made his latest statement during Thursday night's New York Knicks-Washington Wizards matchup at Madison Square Garden. He exploded for 44 points (14-26 FG, 7-14 3PT), nine rebounds, and eight assists in 42 minutes.

Check out highlights from his 28-point first half below.

Walker didn't slow down in the second half. It was the "Cardiac Kemba" show from start to finish.

The Knicks still ended up losing 124-117, but Walker left little doubt that he belongs in the rotation going forward. He did the same Saturday night when he dropped 29 points vs. the Celtics at TD Garden.

Thursday night's performance marked the most points Walker has scored in a game since Dec. 11, 2019 with the Celtics vs. the Indiana Pacers, when he also had 44. His career high is 60, which he accomplished with the Charlotte Hornets vs. the Philadelphia 76ers on Nov. 18, 2018.
