The remaining incumbent members of the Boston Bruins roster appeared at the Ristuccia Arena practice facility on Friday morning, meaning that every returning member of the Black and Gold is back in Boston. Playmaking Czech center David Krejci and No. 1 goaltender from Kazakhstan Anton Khudobin were both out on the practice ice for a captains practice held in anticipation of this weekends training camp.

It feels good to good to be here, said Krejci, who finished with 27 points (16 goals, 11 assists) in 24 games for HC Pardubice over the last three months in his native Czech Republic while waiting for the end of the lockout. Its been a long road and Im excited to get into some games in our building in front of our fans. It should be fun. I cant wait.

Rookie defenseman Dougie Hamilton is expected to be joining the group at Sundays opening of training camp along with Providence call-ups Chris Bourque, Ryan Spooner, Jamie Tardif, Lane MacDermid, Matt Bartkowski and David Warsofsky.

Johnny Boychuk and Tyler Seguin were missing from the frozen sheet, but attendance wasnt mandatory with the official start to the Bruins season kicking off on Sunday morning.

NHL free agent Jay Pandolfo skated in Boston Bruins gear along with the rest of the Bruins playersa measure of thanks from the local Bs players that had been skating at Boston University each day thanks to the efforts of the Burlington native and former NHL forward Mike Grierat a high tempo practice that should help prepare everyone for a quick six-day training camp.

There have also been whispers of a Thursday night scrimmage between the Bruins players and the Providence Bruins at TD Garden to get the skaters ready for impending NHL game play, but nothing has been confirmed by the team at this point in time.
