Ten lucky children at the Boys & Girls Club in Charlestown, Mass. received a special visit from Celtics big man Tacko Fall on Wednesday.

The 7-foot-7 phenom joined the kids in an introductory swim class and instantly earned some new fans. Watch below:

Just like the kids he visited, it was the first-ever swim lesson for the 23-year-old Fall.

"I never learned how to swim," he said. "Which is crazy because I lived right by the ocean back in Senegal.

"I've done pool workouts. I mean, I can stand in most pools."

So how'd Tacko fare in his first lesson?

"I'm a natural. You guys didn't see that? I was kicking my legs, I was pushing, and I was just having fun with the kids."

While enjoying his time with the kids, Fall opened up about how he hopes his time at the Boys & Girls Club can help bring awareness to a serious issue.

"I know that drowning here in Massachusetts is the leading cause of death for kids under the age of 14," he said. "So for me to learn how to swim but also to bring awareness to encourage people to bring their kids here to learn how to swim, because maybe -- who knows, maybe I can save lives."

Fall also revealed he'll be ready for Celtics training camp next week after suffering a minor knee injury during workouts. He'll spend camp battling for a spot on the NBA roster after signing an Exhibit 10 contract over the summer.
