Tremont Waters and the Boston Celtics officially are going their separate ways.

The ex-C's guard has agreed to a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania. He became an unrestricted free agent when the Celtics did not extend a qualifying offer after the 2020-21 NBA season.

Waters, 23, was selected by the Celtics in the second round (51st overall) of the 2019 NBA Draft. The LSU product played in 26 games for Boston last season, averaging 3.8 points and 2.4 assists in a reserve role.

Waters' former Celtics and Maine Red Claws teammate, Tacko Fall, also left Boston for an Eastern Conference foe. The 7-foot-5 phenom signed a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers last week.
