Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum teamed up to lead USA Basketball to victory in Saturday's game vs. the Czech Republic.
Durant dropped 23 points in the 119-84 win and made history in the process, setting the all-time U.S. Olympic record for points scored. Tatum put on a show of his own with a game-high 27 points.

After the game, Durant made an interesting prediction. He believes one day, the Boston Celtics star will follow in his footsteps and be the next to break the Team USA scoring record.
That's some big-time praise -- and lofty expectations -- but it's entirely possible. Only 23 years old, Tatum presumably will have a handful of chances to represent Team USA at the Olympics before he calls it a career.
It isn't the first time Durant has raved about Tatum. The Brooklyn Nets star paid Tatum the ultimate compliment after this year's Celtics-Nets playoff series, calling him a "tough cover" and "in the conversation" with NBA legends Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan.
