FRISCO, Texas (AP) -- Kevin Hartman got his 100th career shutoutand Martin Chavez scored in the 69th minute to give FC Dallas a1-0 win over the New England Revolution on Saturday night.The 37-year-old Hartman, in his 15th MLS season, needed to makejust two saves for his league-leading seventh shutout of theseason. Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando is second in MLS with 79.The win extended Dallas' unbeaten streak to nine (6-0-3), six ofwhich have been shutouts, and solidified its second-placeposition in the Western Conference standings.The Revolution lost their third straight game and are winless insix road games, with two ties.After Dallas failed to convert numerous chances in the firsthour-plus, Chavez finally broke through with an outstandingindividual effort.After receiving a lead ball from Fabian Castillo, Chavez chargeddown the right side and managed to slip around Revolutiondefender A.J. Soares about a yard from the end line.Approaching the right post at a sharp angle, Chavez slotted ahard, low shot between goalkeeper Matt Reis and the goalpost forhis first goal of the season.Chavez had a chance to make it 2-0 in the 88th minute, but Reismade a spectacular diving stop on his 20-yard blast.

SAN JOSE, Calif. - David Bingham had his sixth shutout of the season and the San Jose Earthquakes tied New England 0-0 on Wednesday night, extending the Revolution's winless streak to five games.

Bingham, who was tied for second in MLS soccer with 12 shutouts last season, had three saves - including a stop on Diego Fagundez's shot in the 86th minute.

The Revolution haven't scored since a 3-1 victory over Chicago on Aug. 9, a stretch of more than 270 minutes.

New England (6-11-8) had beaten San Jose three straight times.

San Jose (7-7-10) has just one loss in its last seven matches.
