Today, the MLS held an expansion draft to welcome their two new teams the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps into the league. The two teams selected from a pool that consisted of unprotected players from the already existing 16 MLS squads.
The Revolution roster will leave the draft unscathed as none of their twelve unprotected players were selected.
Today's draft was the seventh expansion draft in league history, and was the first in which the no Revolution were selected by the incoming team.
