FOXBORO -- After a scoreless first half in which the New England Revolution didn't look out of place while on the same field as English Premier League powerhouse Manchester United, the Revs allowed four second-half goals and got toyed with at the end, losing 4-1 in Wednesday night's friendly at Gillette Stadium.
Kenny Mansally scored New England's only goal of the game, after he re-directed a Benny Feilhaber free kick from the top of the box in the 56th minute. It cut Manchester United's lead to 2-1, after Michael Owen and Federico Macheda scored a pair of goals in the 51st and 54th minutes.
Macheda's second goal of the game came in the 61st minute, and Ji-Sung Park finished a beautiful bing-bang-boom give-and-go down the left wing to make it 4-1.
