Revs lose to Earthquakes 2-1

The New England Revolution displayed their will to win inthe opening minutes of the second half, when Benny Feilhaber tied the game at 1-1 in the 55th minute. But Saturdays match with the San Jose Earthquakes atGillette Stadium had a familiar result, as the Revs allowed a late goal in the82nd minute and lost their fourth straight.

The Earthquakes Chris Wondolowski scored both of San Josesgoals, which also included the first of the game, giving the Earthquakes a 1-0lead in the eighth minute.

The Revolution entered the game already having beeneliminated from playoff contention, and theyll conclude the season with twomore games at home against the Columbus Crew and in Canada against TorontoFC.
