TORONTO -- The hits -- and runs, lots of them -- keep coming for the Red Sox.

Stretching their winning streak to a season-high nine games, the Red Sox enjoyed another laugher at the expense of the Toronto Blue Jays, bashing out 17 hits for a 14-1 victory.

The win gave the Sox their third straight sweep. In the three-game sweep of the Jays, the Red Sox outscored their hosts 35-6. In their six wins over the Jays this season, the Sox have outscored Toronto 56-9.

The Sox got a two-run homer from Dustin Pedroia and, three batters later, a three-run shot from David Ortiz to pace a six-run fifth. Kevin Youkilis added the team's third homer in the ninth.

As was the case Saturday, the Sox spread their offense around with five players collecting at least two hits and four knocking in multiple runs, paced by Ortiz, who had four RBI. Jarrod Saltalamacchia had three hits.

Jon Lester allowed just three baserunners over eight innings and became the American League's first nine-game winner.

With the win, the Sox saw their winning percentage reach .600 for the first time this season and are now a season-high 13 games over .500.

STAR OF THE GAME: Kevin Youkilis
Youkilis was 3-for-4 with two walks, a single, double and two-run homer for four RBI and three runs scored.

In six plate appearances, he reached base five times and now sports an on-base percentage of .391. Over his last 24 games, Youkilis has knocked in 20 runs.

HONORABLE MENTION: David Ortiz
Ortiz had a three-run homer in the fifth inning when the Sox blew the game open, his fourth home run in the six games on this current road trip. His 17 homers lead the Red Sox.

He later added an RBI double in the sixth, adding to his incredible .624 slugging percentage, second in the American League.

GOAT OF THE GAME: Kyle Drabek
For the second straight day, a Toronto starting pitcher was mere cannon fodder for the Red Sox lineup. Drabek lasted just four-plus innings while being charged with eight runs.

Of course, walking four hitters didn't help.

TURNING POINT: The way the Red Sox have been hitting of late, this one didn't seem in question as soon as they took a 3-0 lead after three. But just for good measure, Ortiz's 17th homer of the season in the fifth put the game effectively out of reach.

BY THE NUMBERS: Adrian Gonzalez's run of nine straight games with at least one RBI is the longest by a Red Sox player since Manny Ramirez had a 10-game streak in 2002.

QUOTE OF NOTE: "We've gotten contributions pretty much from everybody one through nine (in the lineup); that's a good way to play.'' Terry Francona on the team's offensive explosion in the last week.
