BOSTON -- Red Sox starting pitcher Jon Lester left Tuesday night's game against the Toronto Blue Jays a bit earlier than expected, after suffering a left lat strain.

According to a source, Lester will miss the next two weeks because of the injury.

Lester allowed no hits through four innings while striking out five and walking one, but was replaced by Matt Albers to begin the fifth.

More to come . . .
