BOSTONWith two outs in the fourth and trailing by a run, the Red Sox sent seven batters to the plate, with four scoring. The uprising gave Tim Wakefield enough of an edge to earn the win, the 198th of his career, as the Sox beat the Blue Jays, 6-4, in the series finale at Fenway Park.

Jacoby Ellsburys lead-off homer, his third of the season and sixth of his career, tied the score in the first inning, after the Jays got out to a quick 1-0 lead. It was the 10th homer of the season for Ellsbury, a new single-season career high. Kevin Youkilis led off the second with a homer, his 12th of the season, to give the Sox a one-run lead.
