Arnold: Wild-card race ended Tuesday

WEEI Radio's Dale Arnold feels the American League wild-card race ended Tuesday night.

"No. No, I don't think so," Dale Arnold said when asked by Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight host Gary Tanguay if the Rays "have another run left in them" in light of the Red Sox' 18-6 win over the Blue Jays and the Rays' 4-2 loss to the Orioles, which increased Boston's lead in the race to four games.

"I think their run was last weekend when Tampa Bay swept Boston at Tropicana Field," said Arnold. "I think they took a real run at it . . . but ace David Price lost to the Baltimore Orioles Tuesday night. The Red Sox slapped the Toronto Blue Jays around. I think that whatever chance they had ended tonight. I don't think they've got another run."
