FOXBORO - One reason Bill Belichick doesn't divulge the timetable for a player to return from injury is that - if the player's not back in time, questions arise. On Tuesday, Belichick said that Albert Haynesworth would be back in a day or a couple days. A couple days have come and gone and still... no Albert. But Rob Gronkowski was back and the tight end didn't miss a beat, having yet another excellent practice. Gronkowski left practice limping last Monday. He missed Tuesday, was at Wednesday's walk-through, dressed for Thursday's game but didn't play. He and Tom Brady have shown tremendous chemistry in training camp throughout.Danny Woodhead was not out at practice. Word is his wife had a baby girl. Julian Edelman was at practice but did not participate. Brandon Spikes missed another practice but tweeted like a fiend throughout practice. Ryan Mallett, despite having an auspicious preseason debut, continues to be glacially slow with his decision-making during practice.Zach Roth, an offensive lineman signed as a rookie free agent on Saturday was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury late in practice.
