According to multiple reports, the Patriots have agreed to a four-year deal with sixth-round draft pick Markell Carter.
The 6-foot-4, 248-pound outside linebacker from Central Arkansas is the first Patriots pick to sign with the team.
In his four-year college career, he accumulated 16.5 sacks. He had 62 tackles, 5.5 sacks and three forced fumbles as a senior.
