The sixth-most valuable sports franchise in the world is the New England Patriots. So if you fancy yourself a latter-day Robert Kraft and- whilesittingin whatever would be today's equivalent of Section 217 some cold Sunday night this fall - say, "I think I will buy this team someday," keep it to yourself. The Patriots are now worth 1.37 billion according to Forbes latest list of team valuations.

Manchester United, the Cowboys, Yankees, Redskins and Real Madrid are ahead of the Pats so there are three football teams, two futbol teams and one Yankees.

Everyone feel better about the lockout now?
