FOXBORO - Jerod Mayo, who injured his MCL in Oakland almost two weeks ago, was back on the practice field Friday. The All-Pro linebacker would still be a longshot for Sunday's game against Dallas, but with the bye week coming up for the Patriots next week, it's logical to assume he will be back for the game in Pittsburgh on October 30. In 2009, Mayo injured the MCL in his right knee and returned after just three weeks off. Also back working out were running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis (toe, missed Thursday) and Vince Wilfork (non-injury related, missed Thursday).
