We told you how impressed we were with Cal's Cam Jordan while we were at the NFL Combine in Indy. Now back at the home office in Lakeville, Mass with the TV tuned to the NFL Network's Combine coverage, Jordan keeps impressing. Monday morning, Jordan ran a 4.71 in the 40 (unofficially). To chug like that at 6-4, 284 is impressive. I spent some time over the weekend with Jordan's father, Steve, a former Pro Bowl tight end with the Vikings. Steve went to Brown University and it was clear in talking to him that he believes his son will be able to make a quick transition to NFL life on-field and off. Jordan, I'm hearing, is absolutely a player the Patriots have on their radar. And most every team had to be happy when they heard Jordan tell media on Saturday, "It puts a smile on me to hit a quarterback and hear the wind coming out of his chest."
