Bodden, Wright, Koppen missing from Pats practice

FOXBORO -- The Patriots returned to practice at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, and three players were absent from the start of the session.

Those three players were cornerback Leigh Bodden, defensive lineman Mike Wright, and center Dan Koppen.

Koppen has been ruled out for at least two months but probably won't be placed on injured reserve.

Wright did not play in the later half of Monday night's game. Trainers took his helmet away as a precaution even though he said afterwards that he was fine. He missed time late last season with a concussion.

Sebastian Vollmer, who sat out of Monday night's game in Miami, returned to practice.
