There have been multiple reports of Logan Mankins demanding that he become an unrestricted free agent or receive 10M before the lockout is lifted.
Those reports, according to his agent, Frank Bauer, are false, ESPNBoston.com is reporting.
"Logan's main concern for entering into as a plaintiff was to see if he can become free and help other players have less restrictions," Bauer told ESPN's Chris Mortenson. "For people to say he has made monetary demands, he hasn't made any such demand."
Bauer then accused such reports of the monetary demands as "irresponsible".
The Boston Herald's Ron Borges tweeted, "Logan Mankins has just informed the NFLPA leadership he will sign off on a settlement of the Brady v. NFL case without seeking compensation."
The owners ratified a proposal for the new CBA tonight. It will now go to to the players, who will reportedly vote to ratify it tomorrow -- although early reports indicated that it would not be ratified.
