A. Sherrod Blakely is a veteran NBA journalist having covered the Boston Celtics since 2009 and the Detroit Pistons for Booth News Services and MLive.com from 2000 to 2009. A Syracuse, N.Y. native,  Blakely has broken some of the NBA's biggest stories in recent years, including the blockbuster trade of Allen Iverson to Detroit. Blakely serves as Comcast SportsNet's Celtics Insider for CSNNE.com and Chevrolet SportsNet Central. Prior to working for MLive.com, Blakely spent five years covering Duke, N.C. State and the ACC for the Raleigh (N.C.) News & Observer. Blakely is a graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Journalism.

    It remains to be seen just what kind of impact not having Rajon Rondo on the floor for tonight's Game 2 matchup between Boston and Atlanta will have on this series. One thing we do know, both teams are not going to dwell on it.
