ABOUT SHERROD A. Sherrod Blakely joined Comcast SportsNet from Booth News Services and MLive.com where he covered the NBA's Detroit Pistons for nine years. A Syracuse, N.Y. native, Blakely has broken some of the NBA's biggest stories in recent years, including the blockbuster trade of Allen Iverson to Detroit last season. Blakely will serve as Comcast SportsNet's Celtics Insider for CSNNE.com and SportsNet Central. Prior to working for MLive.com, Blakely spent five years covering Duke, N.C. State and the ACC for the Raleigh (N.C.) News & Observer. Blakely is a graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Journalism. |
