Union beats Revolution to advance to semifinals

Not even a dust storm and torrential downpours could stop the Philadelphia Union from advancing to the semifinals of the U.S. Open Cup.

The Union rode out a one-hour weather delay on Tuesday night to claim a comprehensive 2-0 victory against Eastern Conference rival New England Revolution.

It was a great start for the hosts, as Conor Casey opened the scoring in just the 9th minute of play.
