Toronto snaps Revs streak

FOXBORO -- The New England Revolution suffered their first loss since May 26, on Saturday night, falling 1-0 to Toronto FC.

Toronto got an early goal from midfielder Luis Silva in the eighth minute, as he took advantage of a quick give-and-go at the top of the box, took two steps with the ball down the middle, and beat Revolution goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth to the low-right corner.

It looked as though the Revs tied the game in the 84th minute, but Shalrie Joseph's hand is what put the ball into the net as he crashed the left post following a corner kick. It was ruled no goal, and New England's five game unbeaten streak was snapped.
