The Philadelphia Union had a prime opportunity to grab three more points at home against the New England Revolution on Saturday night.

Instead, the Union were throttled by the surging Revs, conceding five goals at PPL Park for the first time in franchise history. The 5-3 final score was generous, with New England just failing to score a sixth and Philadelphia converting a stoppage time penalty kick.

The Revs' fourth victory in a row extended their unbeaten streak to six and moved them atop the MLS Eastern Conference standings.
