The Revs announced on Tuesday that they have re-signed midfielder Lee Nguyen.
“We’re pleased we were able to reach a new agreement with Lee,” general manager Michael Burns said in a statement. “He's been an important player for us the past two seasons on and off the field, and we believe he'll continue being a key contributor moving forward.”
Nguyen, 27, is entering his third year with the team and has appeared in 63 matches combined in the last two seasons. He has scored nine goals while adding nine assists in his career in New England.
Nguyen earned the Revolution’s 2012 team MVP, named by the club’s fans, following a five-goal, two assist season.
