The New England Revolution's Andrew Farrell, a top draft pick a year ago, is looking to expand his game as he begins his second MLS season. The Revs open in Houston on Saturday against the Dynamo.

"I've got a bet with my brother. I'm hoping this season to get my first MLS goal," Farrell said. "I'm not gong to shave until then."

Farrell said he has "worked on my attacking from the outside back position" after concentrating on defense in his first season.

He said year one was about "just consitently being in a good defensive position and holding my opponent to zero chances. I've got three or four games under my belt and I'm looking forward to getting more forward this season."
