Teal Bunbury and Patrick Mullins scored goals for the Revs as they closed their 2014 preseason schedule with a 2-2 draw against the Colorado Rapids.

Bunbury got the Revs on the board early, picking up a deflected Diego Fagundez pass in the fifth minute and launching one from 21 yards away. His attempt skipped past Colorado goalkeeper Clint Irwin, finding the inside of the far post for a 1-0 New England lead.

Colorado got on the board in the 25th minute. Edson Buddle cleaned up on a rebound off the foot of Dillon Serna to make the score 1-1.

Mullins put the Revs back ahead in the 57th minute when after a handball foul was whistled on Colorado just outside the right edge of the penalty area. Daigo Kobayashi drove the free kick into the area, and after an initial save by Colorado's Clint Irwin, Mullins pounced on the loose ball to put the Revs ahead.

The Rapids came back to tie things at 2-2 in the 82nd minute when Gabriel Torres broke down the left wing put a shot on Luis Soffner, which the Revs keeper saved. But Vicente Sanchez tapped in the rebound for the Rapids’ second goal.
