The Barclay's English Premier League season begins Saturday. Former U.S. national team player Kyle Martino and NBC soccer analyst Robbie Mustoe offer their thoughts with Comcast SportsNet's Dalen Cuff on State of the Revs.

Martino: "I look at a team like Arsenal, who picked up a star player in Alexis Sanchez and that's atypical of that club...They've changed their model. There was a paradigm shift in that they typically didn't like to buy the finished product and prided themselves on developing their young players...They want to be Premier League Champions again and I think they realized to keep pace with the other teams that buying players like Alexis Sanchez goes a long way towards getting just that little bit better."

Mustoe: "I'm impressed with the work that Chelsea has done....Diego Costa is going to be fascinating. [He's a] a player I watched play in Spain and develop over there. I think he's got the mentality for the Premier League. Just what Chelsea needs. And Cesc Fabregas. Let's see how he develops. I worry about his durability, but they've got a tremendous Sports Science Department at Chelsea. If he stays fit, look for a fantastic year."
