FOXBORO -- Friday's Patriots practice looked much like Thursday's as Danny Woodhead (ankle), Julian Edelman (ankle), Sebastian Vollmer (back) and Jerod Mayo (knee) were all missing while media members were present.

Later, when the injury report was released, all were listed as 'doubtful' for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Aaron Hernandez (knee), Albert Haynesworth (back) and Mike Wright (concussion) were all back on the practice field after returning to action on Thursday; all are listed as 'questionable'.

Mike Wright appeared in the locker room briefly on Friday but elected not to comment on his status. Hernandez appeared to be in a good mood, as he was on Thursday, and Haynesworth appeared to be strolling through the locker room without difficulty.

Edelman's injury could force Wes Welker, who has already been a very busy man, into punt returning duties. Bill Belichick didn't say specifically whether or not Welker would move into Edelman's role, but he did admit that Welker is one of the options to take the returning workload.

Like Bill Belichick says: jobs aren't won or lost during OTAs and minicamp. That doesn't mean we can't guess at who lands on the 53-man roster in September.
